Club Indy Newsletter

Ring in the New Year in a safe, sober environment with your friends here at Club Indy. Our mischievous elves are busy bedazzling the inside of the Club for all of the festivities planned this Holiday Season. It may be the coldest time of the year but, for us, it is a time to ignite the warmth, spend time with special friends, make special memories, share the holiday cheer and have some GOOD. CLEAN. FUN.

Before the festivities begin, we feel it important to take time to remember those we have lost and those who are living with HIV. World Aids Day (December 1s t) is not only a time to reflect on the past but to look towards the future. This year, the theme is: FOCUS, PARTNER, ACHIEVE: AN AIDS-FREE GENERATION. Educating yourself and knowing your status is very important. STEP UP and THE MARION COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT have excellent testing facilities and resources for anyone with questions or concerns. Step Up provides FREE HIV and STD TESTING at Club Indianapolis three times a week. It is open to anyone who wants to get tested. Testing dates are every Sunday at 1 p.m., Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Friday at 11 p.m.

'Tis the season of giving so we are taking part in two special Holiday Fundraising Events this year at Club Indianapolis. For starters, December 1st-15th, find us on Twitter at and Facebook at Like us, follow us and each time you comment, re-tweet or share any of our posts with the hash tag #PUTARIBBONONIT, we will donate $5 to the Indiana Aids Fund. Starting December 15th-23rd, we will host a holiday food drive for The Damien Center Food Pantry. Bring in canned/non-perishable food or toiletry items and for each item you donate, we will give you a ticket to enter a special prize drawing held during our Annual Holiday Party on December 23rd. A simple act of kindness can benefit the lives of many.

It is the best season of the year to extend our thanks to our loyal customers with FREE LOCKERS from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday December 23rd. We will spend the day passing out little gifts bags for all who enter to join in on the festivities. Our ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY will start at 7 p.m. where classic food and drinks will be served so that festive times can be shared between old friends and hopefully new ones. Gifts from Santa and the special drawing for the winner of the Holiday Food Drive will be held at 8 p.m.

It is always important to remind you that we have several ongoing "happenings" here at Club Indy. From our $10 Locker Special Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to our Sunday Lunch's Every Sunday at 1 p.m. there is always something going on. If you are between the ages of 18-24, you can get a FREE Guest Membership any day or night of the week. It is a good way to save some money while making new connections and new friends.

Your comments, your input and your ideas matter. Tell us what you think, what you like and what you would like more of. Comment cards are next to the check out counter or you can email us through our website at

Another year older, another year stronger. That's how we see the New Year. Of course, nothing is possible without our members and we wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday. Be sure to join our happy staff as we welcome 2015 with a NEW YEARS EVE CELEBRATION on December 31st at 9 p.m. Food, drinks and party favors will be enjoyed with a special champagne toast at midnight. ENJOY!
