Our sundeck sustained damage from Isaac and was closed for a few days, but it is back up and running now. The sundeck is open year round for your enjoyment. Come on out and join our regular "brown bun brigade" who love to bake every day.
Fall is full of fun events in New Orleans starting with the 17th annual Gretna Heritage Festival October 5-7 featuring 7 stages with performances by international entertainers as well as local Louisiana favorites. Headliners include Joe Cocker, Foreigner, and The Temptations! The festival encompasses 25 city blocks with a huge craft fair and food booths featuring something for everyone. New Orleans has been named a premier Halloween destination by Travel and Leisure magazine and Halloween 29 will certainly live up to that honor! This year's theme is "Monster Brawl" and will be held October 25-28. Start your weekend off with the Lazarus Ball on Thursday at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and then attend the South's most extravagant costume party on Saturday night at 900 Camp Street.
