Club New Orleans Newsletter, August 2011

It's HOT in the Big Easy, but don't let that stop you.  Whenever you're in the French Quarter, stop by the Club where the Men are HOT and the AC is cranked up.  There's a lot going on in August as we begin the countdown to the 40th annual Southern Decadence celebration Sept. 1-5, one of the biggest gay street parties in the country with dances, costume contests and a parade through the French Quarter.  Visit www.southerndecadence.net for details.

Start the month off with the Satchmo Summerfest August 4-7, a music festival celebrating Louis Armstrong with concerts, seminars, the Satchmo Club Strut and second-line parades.  Visit www.fqfi.org/satchmosummerfest for more info.

Get out your best white linen and come out to the annual White Linen Night on August 6th on Julia Street for gallery openings and a street party, featuring performances, food and music.
