March signals the beginning of Spring and is a perfect time of year to enjoy the city. Club New Orleans Newsletter - February 2012

Happy Mardi Gras Everybody!  The Carnival season goes into overdrive this Saturday Night, February 4th, with the highly anticipated Krewe du Vieux Parade that marches through the French Quarter and right by The Club.  Come and enjoy an afternoon at The Club New Orleans and then step right out the front door for a front row seat to the the most outlandish parade of the season.  The fun starts at 6p.m.

It's non-stop fun through Fat Tuesday, February 21st.  The theme for our favorite parade has been announced by the Krew of Barkus.  Hundreds of dogs will take to the streets of the French Quarter in costumes with a "Mission Impossible" theme.  Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to change your dog's identity in order to gain access to places that would NEVER allow dogs.  All proceeds benefit animal organizations in New Orleans.  Visit www.barkus.org for all the de"TAILS".

Don't forget your sweet heart on Valentine's Day, February 14th.  This year give him a healthy HEART by presenting him with a Gym Membership at The Club for the low price of $45 per month.  Stop by the Club and ask for information.

Join the New Orleans Leather Community at the South's oldest and biggest leather block party as the Lords of Leather celebrate The Night of the Black Mask on February 17th at the Phoenix/Eagle bar on Elysian Fields.

Experience the ultimate costume contest at the 48th annual Bourbon Street Awards on Mardi Gras day, February 21st, at 12 noon. The most spectacular costumes of Mardi Gras parade down Bourbon Street  in front of the Oz Bar.  Don't miss any of the festivities, so make your reservations now and come on down to the Big Easy.  HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!
